To microwave spaghetti squash, cut it in half length-wish, cover it with microwaveable plastic wrap, and cook each half on high for approximately 10 minutes until soft. For oven roasting, follow the same steps for cutting, then place face-down in a roasting pan and cook in a pre-heated oven at 350˚ for an hour. After cooking the squash, scrape the insides, using a fork, and pull all the ‘stringy’ squash out to eat. Eat the squash as prepared with seasonings, or use it to replace pasta in spaghetti recipes (this will save calories and carbohydrates!).
