Spring is nearly here, which means St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are upon us. No need to trade your lean recipes – to enjoy green treats! Shop Market Basket’s delicious green fruits to make this healthy Green Fruit Salad. Bring this fruit dish to St. Paddy’s day festivities, and stay true to your healthy eating plan. The fruits in this dish will provide a combination of potassium, vitamin C, flavonoids (which act as antioxidants), and plenty of good fiber. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Green Fruit Salad
2 cups green grapes
2 kiwi, diced into bite-size pieces
2 Granny Smith apples, diced into bite-size pieces
1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 – 2 cups fat-free Cool Whip
In a large bowl, toss together the grapes, chopped fruits, lemon juice and Cool Whip. Stir and mix until the Cool Whip coats all the fruit. Keep chilled until ready to serve. Delicious!
