Are you sticking to your New Year’s resolution to eat healthier and lose weight? Are you confused about which supermarket products are healthy and low in calories? What does Light, Lite, and Reduced Fat mean when shopping for products?
To monitor your caloric intake, be sure to read food labels correctly. It is important to know how many servings are in one container before checking the calories. Calories are stated in “calories per serving”. If a product has 8 servings per container, this means one serving is 1/8th of the entire container. If there are 100 calories per serving and the box contains 8 servings, the calories for the entire box total 800! So shop right, eat right and watch your calories for a healthier and leaner you.
Please join me on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 AM for a free weight loss seminar at Market Basket Select on Phelan and 23rd.
The seminar will cover how many calories you really do need and how to shop for all the right foods to help you lose weight without being hungry.
