
Skylar Thompson, President of Market Basket Foods, presented Mark Rasberry of Sulphur, Louisiana with the keys to a brand new 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, as the winner of Market Basket’s 50th Anniversary Grand Prize drawing. The contest, co-sponsored by Grocers Supply / Parade, featured another one of the largest single prizes given away by the grocery chain, with over 200,000 entries. “Market Basket believes in giving back to our customers and to the communities that we serve,” said Roger Hebert “and our anniversary is a fun promotion for everyone.” “We are proud to be a part of Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana and we appreciate the support of our loyal customers, hard-working associates and vendor partners that have made our company a success,” he concluded.
