Thanks to Market Basket’s many sponsors and vendors, our very successful 2nd annual golf outing netted a huge check for $10,000 for Lamar University academic scholarships. This is the second year in a row Market Basket has raised and donated this large an amount through our golf tournament, held at the Beaumont Country Club.
Several Lamar University dignitaries were on hand, and were very grateful to receive this generous contribution.
