Holiday foods can be healthy, nutritious and delicious! Try this wonderful Avocado Hummus dip. Avocados are packed with nutrition and are high in many nutrients such as healthy fat, fiber, potassium, folate and iron.
2 cloves garlic
1 (15-oz. can) of garbanzo beans
The juice of one lemon (3-4 Tbls. of lemon juice)
2 Tbls tahini
Salt to taste
1 ½ Tbls olive oil
A dash of Paprika.
Place the garlic cloves, lemon juice and tahini in a food processor. Blend until smooth, then add the salt.
Add two avocados, olive oil and blend until smooth.
Place in a serving container with a sprinkle of paprika.
Enjoy this dip with organic or whole wheat crackers for even more holiday health!
